DIDDY CASE: Model claims she had sex with Diddy while he played clips of Jennifer Lopez, his girlfriend at the time
Former Playboy model Rachel Kennedy claims that she and her friends had sex with Diddy in 2000, during the time when the rapper was dating Jennifer Lopez. The sex symbol shared the story in an interview on the podcast “The Trial Of Diddy”, produced by the British tabloid Daily Mail.
Rachel recounts that she was in Japan. She and two other friends met Diddy at a topless nightclub and were invited to the singer’s hotel suite. The women thought it was going to be a private party, but when they arrived, they found only the American there, dressed in a robe.
Rachel and her friends used cocaine, but Diddy did not. The model and one of the women went to a room with Diddy, who was naked, and contrary to the hundreds of sexual abuse allegations against the rapper, the former Playboy model assures that the encounter was consensual.
Rachel also revealed a disturbing detail about the meeting with Diddy: when they entered the hotel room, Jennifer’s music videos were playing nonstop. The model also claims that he spoke to his then-girlfriend on the phone while cheating on her.
The woman explained that she had issues with Diddy’s bodyguard. The security guard was furious because he recognized Rachel as the woman he had been with the night before. The bodyguard even acted aggressively towards his boss’s guests, but according to her, the famous rapper stayed out of the conflict.
In December 1999, Jennifer and Diddy were arrested after an incident at a nightclub. According to witnesses, the rapper fired a gun inside the club following a fight between groups. Two men and a woman suffered facial and shoulder injuries.
Jennifer and Diddy were detained when they left the club on charges of illegal weapon possession. Witnesses also noted that the couple was in the back of the vehicle, showing off the gun.
The police found the gun in the rapper’s car and stated that it had been stolen in Georgia. Since neither of them had a firearm license, Jennifer and Diddy were formally charged with criminal possession of a stolen weapon. He denied everything at the time, insisting that he “did not own any weapons and that the accusations against him were 100% false”.
Jennifer was released the same day without needing bail, and the charges against her were dropped due to lack of evidence. She had just started her music career, and her hit “If You Had My Love” was one of the most played songs at the time. Diddy, on the other hand, was released days later after posting US$10,000 bail and was acquitted in 2001.
