MENENDEZ BROTHERS: Kim Kardashian Visits Menendez Brothers in Prison

Influencer Kim Kardashian made a prison visit and met with Erik and Lyle Menendez, better known as the Menendez Brothers, who were convicted of murdering their parents. Their story is depicted in a Netflix series, “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”, which premiered in September on Netflix.

According to TMZ, the influencer visited the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego to speak with a group of around 40 inmates about prison reform. She is involved in several projects on the topic and suggests, among other proposals, “beautifying” prison yards to help with the rehabilitation of prisoners. Erik and Lyle Menendez are part of this initiative.

TMZ also reports that Kim was accompanied by her sister, Khloe Kardashian, her mother, Kris Jenner, and film producer Scott Budnick. Actor Cooper Koch, who plays Erik in the new Netflix series, was also present.

“Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” tells the story of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were convicted for the murder of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez.

At the time, the prosecution claimed the brothers committed the crime for inheritance. However, the brothers argue that they killed their parents out of “fear” and that they had suffered a series of physical, emotional, and sexual abuses. Both are serving life sentences without the possibility of parole.
