Airbnb offers a night at the Colosseum in Rome to celebrate the release of “Gladiator II”
The reservation for this experience, which will be available starting on the 27th of this month, will allow participants to enjoy three hours at the iconic location on May 7 or 8 of next year, at no cost. “At sunset, the patron will welcome you to the Colosseum and guide you inside. Whether victorious or defeated, there is one thing you can be sure of: your eyes will witness a unique sight. The memory of the Colosseum illuminated by candles will be yours,” describes Airbnb’s website.
According to the platform, visitors will be able to choose their armor and explore the “torch-lit labyrinths in the depths of the Colosseum.”
“Enjoy the symphony of swords and shields as experienced gladiators face off in intense duels for your entertainment. Watch them closely — for soon it will be your turn,” the description continues. “Learn the art of gladiatorial combat and test your courage by fighting alongside your fellow warriors.”
During the experience, guests will also be able to savor “a selection of delicacies such as grapes, pomegranates, almonds, and walnuts,” immersing themselves in the spirit of the ancient gladiators.
