Children support Diddy and claim that the media has created “false narratives” against the rapper

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been receiving support from his children since his arrest on September 16. The rapper, accused of abuse and sex trafficking, criminal association, and facilitating prostitution, is awaiting trial, scheduled for May next year.

U.S. authorities are also investigating him for hosting parties known as ‘freak-offs’ or ‘sex marathons,’ which, according to official reports, involved coercive sex, drug use, rapes, and threats.

According to the newspaper O Globo, Diddy is the father of seven children from four relationships: Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, Chance, 18, twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17, and Love Sean, two years old.

In a joint statement released on October 22, the family shared that September was devastating for them all. They denied the accusations and conspiracy theories involving Diddy and criticized social media for spreading ‘false narratives.’

‘We are together, supporting you every step of the way. We keep the faith in the truth, confident that it will prevail, and nothing will shake the strength of our family. We miss you and love you, Dad,’ they stated.

Additionally, on November 4, Diddy received a call from six of his seven children to celebrate his 55th birthday. In a video posted on social media, they sing ‘Happy Birthday’ while he responds, ‘Love you all.’

Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and twins Jessie and D’Lila asked for respect for the memory of their mother, model Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 47 due to lobar pneumonia. In a statement released on September 24, they explained that rumors involving their parents are false. The four children clarified that their mother never wrote a book revealing secrets about Diddy, as was speculated online.

‘We are sad that the world has turned the most painful moment of our lives into a spectacle. Our mother should be remembered for her beauty, strength, kindness, and love. Her memory should not be tainted by conspiracy theories,’ they stated.

When questioned by the British newspaper Daily Mail about the accusations against Diddy, Jake Porter, Kim’s 78-year-old father, avoided speculation and only said: ‘The truth will come out. It always does in the end.’

Diddy’s mother, Janice Small Combs, told The Hollywood Reporter that, although her son is not perfect, he is innocent of the accusations and deserves to be heard.

The rapper remains detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, while awaiting trial scheduled for May 5, 2025.
