Sacha Bali has been making waves on “A Fazenda 16” and generating a lot of buzz on social media due to his arguments and controversies with other contestants. During the show, he got involved in confrontations that earned him support from some celebrities after being attacked and insulted by his opponents.
For those who may not know, Sacha is 43 years old, born in Rio de Janeiro, holds a degree in Cinema, and works as an actor. He has participated in productions such as the series “Filhos do Carnaval” and “Bom Dia, Verônica”, as well as in telenovelas like “Bicho do Mato”, “Caminhos do Coração”, “Além da Ilusão”, “Em Família” e “Salve Jorge”.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2002, Sacha Bali entered the Social Communication course with a focus on cinema at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he graduated in 2005. In 2003, during the university holidays, he traveled to the United States and took summer courses in screenwriting and film directing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In 2004, during his cinema degree, Sacha worked as a cameraman at the Globo Network headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, filming reports for programs like RJTV, Globo Repórter, Jornal Nacional, and Fantástico.
The following year, after graduating, the network offered him a contract to continue working behind the scenes, but Sacha chose to decline the offer to pursue a career as an actor. He made his debut in the play Lado B, where he also took on the roles of director, writer, and producer.
Still in 2004, Sacha founded his own theater production company, Andarilho. In 2006, he joined the drama arts program at the University Center of the City of Rio de Janeiro (UniverCidade), where he graduated, and in 2010, he completed his postgraduate studies in screenwriting at PUC-Rio.
A FAZENDA 16
In 2024, Sacha Bali entered the reality show “A Fazenda” on Record, starting the program with 100,000 followers on Instagram, but currently has 480,000. Resilient and eliminating rivals like former player Zé Love, he is one of the major favorites to win the R$ 2 million prize.
Considered one of the strongest participants of this edition, Sacha had the first kiss of the season with Larissa Tomásia and had conflicts with Zé Love, Sidney Sampaio, and Fernando Presto. The actor even stated that his experience on “A Fazenda 16” has been more difficult than the ones Juliette and Davi went through in their respective seasons of Big Brother Brasil.
Before entering the reality show, his participation seemed to be free of major conflicts, but everything changed once he entered the confinement: “My goal in the game is to position myself without losing control, respect everyone, try to stay at peace, even if it’s just with myself, and seek to maintain a healthy relationship even with my biggest enemies. And, of course, I know I’m not an angel, far from it, I’m nowhere near that”, he said before the start of “A Fazenda 16”.
