Site claims that Liam Payne threatened to release intimate photos of ex-girlfriend

Liam Payne, the singer who passed away on October 16 at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, allegedly sent messages to an unknown person offering intimate content of his ex-girlfriend, Maya Henry.

A letter obtained by Page Six revealed that Henry’s lawyers claimed that the former One Direction member ‘repeatedly sent unsolicited and disturbing images and videos in the past to Maya Henry and her family.’

The content involved ‘photos of his genitals and several videos of Payne performing disturbing sexual acts on himself.’ The letter was sent to Payne’s lawyers and agents on October 9, one week before his death.

Maya stated that she received a message on Instagram on October 6 from a woman who claimed to know the singer. The woman revealed that she and Payne began communicating years before his death: ‘The main reason I reached out was because he started flooding me with messages using an iCloud email. When I asked who it was, he started asking me if I wanted nudes of you and his current girlfriend,’ she said.

The current girlfriend mentioned by the woman is Kate Cassidy, with whom the singer was in Argentina before his death. According to the anonymous source, she replied ‘absolutely not’ to Payne and warned that she would notify Maya Henry about the ‘offer.’

The woman also said that she stopped responding to Payne for a while, but he managed to contact her through different phone numbers and social media. After Maya was alerted about the potential threats of intimate content leaks involving her image, her lawyers notified Payne’s agents, stating that they would take criminal action against the singer if he ‘defamed, threatened, harassed, or intimidated’ his ex-girlfriend.

It is unclear, however, whether Payne or his team responded to the letter sent by Maya Henry’s lawyers. The deadline was 10 business days, but the singer passed away before any response.
